On travelling
During my round-the-world trip, sometimes I dreaded going out: I stay in, journal and do grocery shopping.
During my round-the-world trip, I always dreaded booking the next accommodation in a different city because it meant a new environment: I book that accommodation after dreading it for 20 minutes.
On vlogging
I record videos and don’t publish them.
I cringe watching my videos: I make cover photos, press publish and publicize anyway.
On performing
My hands tremble when I’m on stage.
My hands tremble when I’m on stage: I look down at my hands, accept my fear and continue with whatever I’m doing.
On trying to dance
I tried going social dancing but backed away and went home when I saw the crowd.
I went social dancing because a classmate asked me to. When I was waiting for her to come, I sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes feeling like puking before I actually went in the dance floor. I sat for another 10 minutes. I then ask someone to please dance with me, all the while looking like I’m carsick.
On socializing
I feel self-conscious at events: Sometimes I don’t talk to anyone.

ON diving
I am avoiding the make-up session that will complete my programme. I am still afraid until today.
[Update Jan 2016] I finally completed my Open Water Diver programme at S.E.A. Aquarium. Hurray!
I also think being brave means knowing that there’s a second chance to do what you’re afraid of doing. And actually doing it the second time around.
